Iwillshowashortvideocliptakenfromthepopularmoviecalled“HighSchoolMusical”inwhichavividlifeofhighschoolstudentsispresented.Then,Iwillhaveafreetalkwiththestudents,andaskthemhowlonghaveyoubeeninourschool?Andwhat’syourfirstimpressiononyourseniorhighschoollife?Thestudentsareencouragedtobrainstormwords,phrasesorsentencesconcerningtheirschoollife,suchtheplaygroundisbig,thedininghallissplendidandsoon.……

Thisstepwillcostabout5minutesandthepurposeofitistomotivatethestudents’learninginterestsofthetopic.

Step2whilereading

Itconsistsoftwoparts:extensivereadingandintensivereading.

Part1Extensivereading

Iwillaskthestudentstoskimthepassagequicklyandtrytomatchtheparagraphswiththetopics(板书topics,连线)Ishowthemonthescreen.

Part2Intensivereading

Iwillguidethestudentstoscanthepassagecarefully.Afterthat,Iwillarrangeagroupdiscussiontodiscusssomequestions,
