LiuJianingIhavebeenlearingEnglishforalmost12years,so,IhavegainedalotfromEnglishlearngin.Now,Iwanttoshareitwithmyfriends.1.Timingisimportant.

Whyisitcanweuseourmothertonguesofluently?Itisbecausewestartedtouseitsincewestartedtouseitsincewewereborn.Andwehavebeeninanenvironmentwhereeeryoneisusingit.

So,tolearnanotherlanguage,weshouldalsostartearly,asearlyaspossible.IstartedlearningEnglishformthefirstgradeofprimiaryschool.IwasluckybecausemyEnglishteachersdidaverygoodjobinsitmulatingmyinterestinandEnglishlearing.IjoinedinsomeEnglishclubs,directedmyownsmallEnglishplays.AlsoIwastaughtaboutthewesterncultureandsomehistoryaswell.

2.Readingisneccessary.Duringthese12years,Ihavefoundthatreadingveryessential.Throughmassivereading,Icanenlargemyvocalulary,gettoknowthestructureofsentences,andthemostimpotantthing,Ithink,isIcangetalinguisticsensitivity,whatwecall“语感”languageisalivething,youcan'tthinkothgrammarorsentencestructureallthetimewhenyouspeak.so,ifyouhavethiskingoflinguisticsensitivity,wordscancomeoutofyourlipswithoutpause,justlikecoolspringrunningoutofthevalleyinsummer.Ialwayspickupwhateverreadingmaterialswithinmyteach.sothat,Ihavereadvariousthings,includingscience,history,socialstudy,literature,etc.3.Speakingandlisteningisalwaysthefirst.
