1、向美国移民局递交申请交费，案子被接受以后给你档案号，可以去移民局官网查询进度。

2、申请如果批准移民局会给你通知，并要求你提供相应的材料(一般指证据材料包括无犯3、罪记录证明等，经济担保)。

4、背景调查。这个阶段等待的时间会比较长，具体看你申请哪类移民。

5、补充材料(如果移民局需要你进一步补充材料)。
