Ithinkthatthereshouldbegeneral,openauditionsandcompetitionsinallthemajorarts.Thereshouldbecategoriesforpaintingandsculpture;classical,folkandmodemdance;andinstrumentalandchoralgroups,bothlargeandsmall.ThejudgesshouldbejointcommitteesmadeupofbothfacultyandStudents,bothexpertsinthefieldandnovices.Arrangingthefestivalinthiswaywill,Ibelieve,giveourstudentbodyagreaterenjoymentofthearts,abreakfromstudiesandafullerappreciationforwhatitmeanstobehuman.
