Nowadaysitiscommontoseethatmanyparentsfocustheirattentionontheirchildren,butleavetheirownparentswithoutpropercare.Themosttypicalexampleisthephenomenonofemptynestseniors.Thisproblemhasarousedthepublicconcernandhasbecomethehottopicofmanydiscussions.

Payinglittleattentiontoolderparentscanhaveseriousconsequences.First,theelderlyoftenfeellonelyanddepressedifthereisnochildwithwhomtheycantalk,andthiscanhaveabadeffectontheirmentalhealth.Second,theagedparentswithnochildrenbytheirsidescanhavealotoftroubleintheirdailylifeduetodiseaseoroldage.

Inmyopinion,weshouldtakethefollowingmeasures.Childrenshouldbeencouragedtolivewithorneartheiroldparents,whichisveryhelpfulforthemtoknowtheirparents,concernandattendtheirdailylife.Anditisalsonecessaryforthemtocreatechancestocommunicatewiththeiragedparents.Besides,ourgovemmeiitshouldstrivetoestablishtheservicesystemfortheelderlyandexpanditssocialinsurancecoverageamongthem.
