Today,manycollegestudentsareabsorbedinplayingcomputergames.Maybethereissometruthinthestatementthatcomputergamesarefunandwilltrainone'sreactivity,determinationandattention.

However,themeritsofcomputergamescannevercompensateforthenegativeeffectstheyhave.First,itisverytime-consumingtoplaycomputergames.Thegamefanshavesacrificedalmostalltheirtime，thustheyhavenotimetoattendclass,totakeexercises,oreventodate.Upongraduationmanywillregretthattheyhavewastedthepreciouscollegetimeonnothing.Second,thegamefans,whospendtheirtimebeforethelifelesscomputers,usuallyoverlooktheirrelationshipwithothers.Theywouldfindthattheyhavesomementalorpsychicproblems.

Inmyopinion,Idon'tthinkwecanbenefitalotfromplayingcomputergames.Studyshouldalwaysbegiventhefirstpriority.Concerningthenegativeeffectslistedabove,Idohopethosegamefanscanstepawayfromcomputergames.
