OncetheGameshavebeenawarded,itisthedutyofthelocalorganizingcommittee----nottheIOCortheNOCofthehostcity’scountrytoprovidethemwithmoney.ThisisoftendonewithapartoftheOlympictelevisionrevenues,andcorporatesponsorships,ticketssales,andothersmallerrevenuesources.Inmanycasesthereisalsodirectgovernmentsupport.
