Anumberofindividualsfavorpostponingtheretirementage.Intheireyes,itisthispolicythatenablestheagingsocietytobuildupenoughwork-force.Asamatteroffact,peopleinmountingnumbershavecometorealizethisprobleminanagingsociety.Evenso,othersholdadifferentviewthatpostponingretirementagecarriessomerisks.Thispolicycanbringoldpeoplestress,butcannotarousetheirenthusiasmforwork,andcannothelpthemtoenjoytheirretirementpension.
Iamconvincedthatweshouldtakeintoaccountthewishesofoldpeople.Ifthoseseniorshaveenthusiasmforwork,weshouldeducate,advocateandencouragethemtoworkandperformtheirtasks;ifnot,itisadvisableforthesocietytocreateacomfortabletwilightforthem.Ifwetryourutmosttodoso,thefutureofoldpeople’lifewillbepromisingandhopeful.(187words)
