Payinglittleattentiontoolderparentscanhaveseriousconsequences.First,theelderlyoftenfeellonelyanddepressedifthereisnochildwithwhomtheycantalk,andthiscanhaveabadeffectontheirmentalhealth.Second,theagedparentswithnochildrenbytheirsidescanhavealotoftroubleintheirdailylifeduetodiseaseoroldage.
