People’sopinionsvarywhenitcomestothiswayofkillingtime.Agreatnumberofpeoplemaintainthatstayingindoorsischeap,comfortable,andmostimportantly,verysafe.Others,however,frownuponstayingindoorsfortoolong.Theyareworriedthatlackofphysicalexerciseandface-to-facecommunicationwithotherswilldoharmtopeople’sbodyandmind.

Personally,Idon’tthinkstayingindoorsformostofthedayshouldbeadvocated.Instead,peopleinallages,theirphysicalconditionspermitting,shouldbeencouragedtospendmoretimeoutdoors.Thebrilliantsunshine,thepleasantgreenspace,theinteractionswithotherpeople,etc.areallgoodforpeople’shealth,bothphysicallyandpsychologically.
