it is very important to choose a right career. a right choice usually leads to success and happiness, while a wrong one often brings about failure and disappointment. therefore, we must get ourselves well prepared so that a right choice can be made when needed.

if i am to choose a career, my principles are as follows. first of all, it should be a real service to my fellowmen and not merely enable me to earn a living. seondly, it should offer scope for creativity and imagination because i want to live a rich or meaningful life. finally, it should provide me with opportunities and challenges, engaging my in terest and allowing me to develop my abilities.

there are many professions for me to choose from: teaching, newspaper work, research on social science and so on. among them, the work of a reporter may suit me most, because it is an eciting job and is full of challenges.

every one faces the problem of choosing an occupation after graduation from college or university, which plays a vital role in his life. an appropriate occupation makes a man work with zest(热情) and vigor, as well as contribute to his country.

to make a wise choice, two important things should be taken into consideration. one is the interest, the other, the demands of people and society. only if the two aspects are connected, can a man show his talent and ability to the best advantage. if the two conflict, the former should be under the latter, for the peoples interests are more important than the individuals.

in regard to my choice in the future, i am fond of learning foreign languages; what is more, with the implementation of the open-door policy, echange between home and abroad in economy and culture has been growing significantly, thus im determined to be a qualified interpreter.

When it comes to the choice of career, some people prefer the job with high salary. But some others prefer to pursue a job with promising future. Personally, mypreference is the latter. The reasons are as follows:

Nowadays many adults have full-time jobs and the proportion of their lives spent doing such jobs is very high. So feelings about one’s job must reflect how an

individual feels about his or her life as a whole, and because of this, job satisfaction and prospect is indeed very significant for the wellbeing of that person. In this case, a promising job is to my taste. Firstly, I need to hold a perception that I’m doing valuable and rewarding work. For example, Steve Jobs, Ex-CEO of Apple Inc,

holding the dreams of changing the world, has enhance the convenience of our life via Apple products. What a promising and amazing job he did! Secondly, there goes a saying "Sincerity is a lapis lazuli ". When striving for excellence of an promising job, you’ll gain fortune naturally, namely wealth will come easily after pursuit of excellence. Madame curie, famous scientist of Poland, who shared the Nobel Prize in chemistry, was enjoying an promising job. Furthermore, all she did worry about is her work rather than her salary. Last but not least, spiritual fulfilment does matter much more than material abundance.

In summary, chances are that high salary is obtained by choosing a promising job, on the contrary, it is less likely to earn a hopeful future by selecting a high salary one.、

Some people hold that they should take the fame astheir first consideration,They believe thata university with a good reputation will give them a better environment to study .

As a result,they believe that will put them to a prior situation when they want to get a ideal job after many year‘s hard working.

Other people,on the contrary,advocate that student should not take the fame as the crucial factor.

In their eyes.

a major with a promising future is the main goal,they argue that,only with a promisingmajor can one have a good job after his graduation.

And a university with a famous reputation will not alway do the job.

A case in point is that,there are number of student who are graduate from the famous university xxx get into a awkward situation when he or she face the job competition.

With the two opposite opinions discussed above,it is clear that neither of them isn‘t reasonable.

If the decision is up to me,I willchose the later point of view as my major principle,it goes without saying that I willbenefit a lot from it.
