In the United States, the fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. On that day, Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed during the Day is usually a family day. The Road to Grow Up

Before I was five years old, my parents gave me what I wanted, but as I became bigger, they changed their attitude towards me. My parents no longer satisfy me with all I want. When I want to buy a new dress, my mother won’t buy for me directly, she asks me to do something to exchange for it. Such as doing the housework or making progress in the study. What’s more, when I meet the difficulties, my parents won’t solve them for me immediately, instead, they will leave me to think about them and help me to solve them. What my parents do to me is right, it is my road to grow up.

In accordance to the definition in Oxford Dictionary, creation refers to the act or process of making something that is new, or of causing something to exist that did not exist fact, today it is impossibly difficult for us to image a 21st century without creation .

We should place a high value on creationfirstly because creativespirit can enable an individual to ameliorate himself, so he can be equipped with capacity to see what others cannot see, be qualified for future career promotion, and be ready for meeting the forthcoming challenges. What's more, we ought to attach importance to the role played by creationin economic advancement. Put it another way, in this ever-changing world, creationto economic growth is what water is to fish. To sum up, if creationmisses our attention in any possible way, we will suffer a great loss beyond imagination.

In order to encourage creation, it is wise for us to take some feasible measures. For example, mass media should greatly publicize the significance of creativity and encourage the public to cultivate awareness of creation. Besides, those who manage to create should be awarded generous prize. Though there is a long way ahead to go, I am firmly certain that the shared efforts will be paid off.

My hometown and Guangzhou are different in many ways. Firstly, people in Guangzhou speak several languages. For example, local citizens speak Cantonese, and the immigrants speak Mandarin. And there are many foreigners and oversea people living in Guangzhou. They mainly speak English. Once I traveled in Guangzhou, I found it a little difficult to understand Cantonese.

Thus I tried to communicate with them in Mandarin. Sometimes when I met some foreigners, I also chatted with them in English. However, people in my hometown always speak local dialect.

As China becomes more powerful and the world has focused their attention on this great country, the foreigners are so curious about China, so they come here and most of them can't help falling in love with the culture. Most Chinese must be very curious about if the foreigners have idols in China. Actually, they have. A group of foreigner were asked about this question and most of them said Jacky Chen was their hero. Jacky Chen was awarding the Oscar Life Achievement Award recently. He is the pride of China. Jacky Chen is famous for his Kongfu movies, in which he combines the Kongfu with comedy and the audience likes this style so much. The world knows more about China from his movies.
