Cost 的过去式及过去分词都是 Cost，并且不能用于被动句。

take 后面常跟双宾语，常见用法有以下几种

pay money back 还钱。May I borrow 12 yuan from you?

I'll pay itback next week.你能借给我 12 块钱吗?下周还你。

His mother passed away last year.他母亲去年去世了

由 pass 构成的短语:pass by 经过;pass on 递给，传给Pass the book on to me after you've finished it.

pride 名词自豪，骄傲the pride of... , „的骄傲本、take pride in. 为..而自豪

I take pride in my country.我为我的国家感到骄傲。

proud 形容词自豪的 be proud of„为„„感到自豪/骄傲

The boy's parents are proud of him.男孩的父母为他感到骄傲。

表示生命的结束，是不及物动词，不能用于被动语态，强调动作，是瞬间动词

不能与表示一段时间的状语连用His grandfather died in 2000.他的祖父死于 2000 年

die 可用于进行时态，表示“即将死去，奄奄一息。The old man is dying.那位老人即将死去

die 的形容词形式是 dead，意为“死的”，可作表语或定语，作表语时表状态

die 的名词是 death，意为“死，死亡”，作主语或宾语

His grandma has been dead for ten years.他的祖母已经去世十年了

一般指由于疾病、情感等原因引起的死亡

The man died of a kind of serious disease.这个人死于一种疾病

die from 由于„„而死 一般常用于由外伤、衰老引起的死亡
