My favorite Sports is basketball. It looks so cool in TV that I was crazy about those basketball stars ever since I was little.

Basketball requires speed, height and skills. I run, jump, switch, and try to hit! All parts of my body are exercised in this sport. I feel that I’m like wind flying in the playground for my goal, which makes me feel so GREat!

Basketball needs quick reaction and decision. When chance comes, it may disappear in the next second. I should keep an eye watching as an eagle, decide and judge quickly as a leopard, and run for it as a wolf.

Further more, basketball is a sports more than just exercising, It needs team work. No one can play himself. A team should work together. So I learn to cooperate with others in this game. I should understand what my teammate doing and what he needs me to do for him. On the other side, I should learn to show my teammate what I need. At the same time, I need to keep an eye on the whole game, knowing how is the situation of our team and how is the other team. It involved more cooperation and strategy.

I played basketball more for about 5 years now. I make many good friends throught this sports. It is proud to win honor for my team and my school. Also I enjoy all games with my friends. Basketball will be my best friends in the future and my best memory about school life.

We are now living in a common home. That is the earth. She provides us with enough food, enough water and enough living room. So we must do everything to protect her. There are lots of big or small, red or green, beautiful gardens around us .But there are still some other lands bare of grasses or trees on the earth.

Some people may ask why not led all lands covered with trees, flowers and grasses? Why not prevent the lands from being desert? Why not prevent the air from being polluted? And why not prevent the earth from being poisoned? Yes! Our environment is being polluted faster than nature and man’s efforts can prevent. Time is bring us more people, and more people will bring us more industry. So many trees will be cut down, and more large cities will be set up. Lots of waste material, in return, is produced and harms the environment. So some experts declare that the balance of nature is being destroyed. The survival of man is in danger.

We feel really sad about it. What can we do to solve this problem? We must forbid cutting down trees and forbid killing animals and pouring waste water into rivers and so on. We’ll never destroy the balance of nature. Let’s get along well with all animals. Let the trees, flowers and grasses come back to our home. Because we have only one home --- the earth.

衡水湖，我爱你！

早就听说衡水名胜中有个衡水湖，只是"无缘相见"。今年五一，终于如愿以偿。爸爸、妈妈满怀兴致地带着我到衡水湖进行了一次春游，衡水湖那秀丽的自然风光给我留下了深刻的印象。

原以为衡水湖比我们家属院门前的池塘大不了多少，这次一到衡水湖，我才惊悟：以前的想象是多么可笑，自己和课本上说的坐井观天的井底之蛙是何其相似！原来衡水湖大的一眼望不到边！

我沿着弯弯曲曲的人工小路无论是向左看、右看、前看都是一片水的世界，天连水，水连天，青天碧水，色彩明丽，好象天水都在有意地展示自己的风采，招徕八方来客，诉说衡水湖的未来……

湖中，大大小小的岛屿星罗棋布；岛上郁郁葱葱的草木生机盎然，远远望去，一座座小岛，像一条条绿色的大船，浮在水面。天有些阴，水面上升腾的雾气，给衡水湖平添了几分神秘。

我们上了船，小船荡漾在宽阔的湖面上，荡悠悠，飘悠悠，悠哉，乐哉！阵阵微风吹来，湖面泛起层层涟漪。偶而，一两条小鱼，偷偷地从船下溜过，冲破层层涟漪，游向远方。小船行驶着，一会儿急奔如风，前面的鱼儿、水藻不停地被抛在船后；一会儿随意飘荡，我们躺在小船上，和湖中所有的小生命友好相处。

不久，我们来到了梅花岛上。岛上长满了各种各样的树：杨树伟岸挺拔；槐树象一把把绿油油的伞为游人遮风挡雨，此外还有榕树、松树以及很多我叫不出名字的树，它们都向我们点头示意，象是游客们的"光临"！

船离开梅花岛，行不多远，就进了"苇塘"。苇塘里，苇絮飘飘，又是另一番景致。密密麻麻的芦苇，随风摇曳。它们置根于泥水之中，团结互助，用集体的力量战胜邪恶，保护正义。在战争年代里，千千万万的革命志士不正是凭着它和敌人_，最终胜利完成任务的吗？置身于现代的芦苇荡，我情不自禁地大声的.呼唤着——"谢—谢—你——"

在苇塘里生活着许许多多的鸟，有的还是国家的一、二级保护鸟类，所以这里又叫"鸟区"。船行了一阵，发现鸟也多了起来。有的象老鹰那么大；有的又象麻雀那么小；有的全身都是灰白色的，有的身上披着鲜艳的羽毛。

沿着船道走了一阵，我们发现了一窝鸟蛋，浅绿色的蛋壳，看上去比鸡蛋小一点。听说这里有很多鸟蛋，但船夫们、游客们从来不拿，可见人们的环保意识越来越强了。

虽然，衡水湖不象西湖那样闻名遐迩，也不象白洋淀那样烟波浩渺，但它以自己独特的魅力，吸引着八方游客。我相信，只要人们好好地保护，不断地开发，衡水湖将成为河北省、乃至全国一道最靓丽的风景线！

With the development of living standards, going out to have a tourism is becoming a part of our life. But at the same time, uncivilized behaviors in tourism are frequently happening. So cultural tourism has became a hot topic in the society.

Especially in vacations, phenomena of uncivilized behavior in parks or museums everywhere. Even in foreign countries, our Chinese citizens still do naturally, it seriously affected our country's image. Of course, it has caused bad loss in ancient buildings and antiquities and our environments. So it's urgent to advocate to have a cultural tourism.

中学英语教师教学随笔

正式步入教师这个行业已有七年的时间，而成为一名中学英语教师才只有短短的一年时间。这短短的一年让我发现自己故步自封了七年。

当老师是从小到大的理想，可能是恐惧与大孩子接触，所以一直只想当一名小学老师，再加之本身自己是没有太大上进心的人，所以只希望自己安安稳稳待在一个小学校里，一辈子最好。

可因为入编考试，专业以及学校的的种种因素，我来到了##中学，说实话来之前心里忐忑不安，最忐忑的就是我能与大孩子们相处融洽，并能胜任自己的工作吗？前方有太多的未知与不安。在忐忑不安中我开始了自己初中英语教师的日子。

在洒中的一年里，各种各样的挑战接踵而至，我能做的就是尽自己的努力，把每一件事情做好，无愧于自己，无愧于学生。慢慢的适应工作之后，我开始想怎样上好每一节课，怎样让学生学有所获，提高成绩呢？

我现在想到的提高学生的英语成绩，主要有两方面工作要做：
