2.请设计出presentation环节的教学步骤。

3.请设计出本课时的两个词汇练习活动(一个是词汇巩固操练活动,一个是词汇综合运用活动)。

2.Presentation

(1)TheteacherpresentsthepicturesofMrYoungandMrJonesonPPTandasksstudentstopayattentiontotheirhair.TheycanfindthatMrYounghaswhitehairandthatMrJoneshasblackhair.Inthisway,theteachertellsstudentsthatMrYoungis“old”andthatMrJonesis“young”andwritesthemonblackboard.

(2)TheteachershowsanotherthreepicturesonPPT.StudentsfindMissGreenblinks,MissWhitesmilesandMrLiisserious.Thentheteachercanshowthemthewordstorespectivelydescribethreeteachers“funny”,“kind”and“strict”andwritethemonblackboard.

(3)Askstudentstopayattentiontothedialoguebetweenthetwoboysandleadthemtoreadaloudinclass.Thenusethesentencestructure:whoishe?andishe...toaskstudentsandhelpthemunderstandthesentencestructures.

3.Practice

(1)Playagame“Flashcard”.Theteacherneedstopreparefivecardsonwhichpeoplehavedifferentexpressions.Whentheteachershowsonecard,studentsneedtoreadtheexpression,speakoutthecorrespondingwordandspellthewordtogetheratthesametime.Thestepgoesfortheotherfourwords.

(2)Makeadialogue.Studentswillchooseoneoftheirteachersandcooperatewiththeirdeskmatestomakeadialogueconcerningtheteachers’appearanceandpersonality.Studentsshallbetoldtousethenewwordsandsentencesinthedialogue.Theywillbegiven6minutestofinishthetaskandthensomegroupswillbeinvitedtosharetheirworkinthefront.Inthefinal,theteacherwillgiveresponsetotheirperformance.

StudentA:Hello!WhoisMrGreen?

StudentB:Heisthemathteacher.

StudentA:Isheyoung?

StudentB:Yes,heis.Andheistall.Heisstrict.
